What do you think about when you hear Columbus Day? Christmas!

I dont know about you, but when I hear Columbus Day, I think oh no Christmas is right around the corner!  I know – how sad is that!!  But with the stores rushing the holidays I am in that panic feeling right about now – and it is still 2 months away!  Thank goodness I can surf online and start thinking of original gifts now, so the less stress in December the better.

Here we go again! And I mean GO – as in another Licensed Character personalized book being gone from the market. And it is none other than the Personalized Book Scooby Doo © Hanna-Barbera.

The last time you will see the product being advertised online will be June 30, 2014. There will be dealers who have a lot of stock so there might be a few books trickling around after that. But don’t expect to see the ads on a website. The license agreement is very specific about not advertising after the contract expires. (Though there are a few dealers who will be still be advertising so they can get rid of their inventory!) But don’t get your hopes up if you expect to find one of them because there are “spys” out there that find those dealers and get them to take the ad off – even if it is one by one!

For quite awhile Best Personalized Books offered quite the selection of Licensed Character Products available to be personalized. One of the reasons their company was a popular one among dealers.

When I first started selling personalized gifts for kids I found a company that offered Personalized Disney Books. At that time companies were allowed to sell these Disney Personalized Children’s Books online and an office in New York custom made your personalized book and shipped it directly to you. Since then many things have changed. Now there is only one retailer that is authorized by Disney to make their products and that company has moved their production to Australia. No matter who you buy these Personalized Books through they will always come from the same company. So if you are wanting these for your Unique Christmas Gifts I suggest you order now. These books take 4-6 weeks to get to you and if there is a problem with the book you have to get it reshipped.
